General Information
The FCRA 2021 Annual Convention is your chance to network with fellow court reporters from across the state at the beautiful Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa in Clearwater, Florida.
During the convention our registration and information desk will be located in the East Foyer. Please visit us there for registration and with questions during the following hours:
- Friday, June 25 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, June 26 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, June 27 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Full Convention Registration includes: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday sessions; continental breakfasts; refreshment breaks; handout materials; Friday Networking Happy Hour; Saturday Luncheon; and Saturday Night Party (PLEASE NOTE: Teacher/Student registration does not include Saturday Night Party).
Daily Registration Options DO NOT include social event tickets, the FPR-C Skills add-on, and/or the Thomas Hughes Memorial Realtime Challenge (contest) add-on. These items must be purchased separately!

Hotel Information
The room block at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort is CLOSED over the Convention dates. The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort may still have rooms available at a higher rate.
Additional accommodations may be available at hotels within a short distance from the meeting. Due to the increase in leisure travel in June, attendees in need of accommodations are encouraged to book at their earliest convenience.

If you are contacted by anyone in regards to a hotel reservation, please note they are not endorsed by FCRA. Despite their claims, they do not have access to our negotiated discounted rates. If you make a reservation with an outside company, FCRA cannot guarantee your reservation is valid.

Where will the FCRA 2021 Annual Convention be held?
This year's convention will be held at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa located in Clearwater, Florida. Please click here for location.
How will we socially distance?
Registration is limited to allow for up to three attendees at each table and extra space between exhibit tables. Be sure to register early to reserve your spot.
Will there be a virtual attendance option?
After much consideration, with the safety protocols in place from the hotel and by limiting the number of registrants, exhibitors, and guests, we decided to proceed with the in-person event and restrict the number of attendees. Our program will require that attendees socially distance and wear masks.
Unfortunately, through our exploration, we confirmed that it is cost prohibitive for FCRA to record and/or stream the live content for a virtual audience to participate at the same event.

How do I confirm hotel reservations?
To confirm your reservation, please call the Reservations Department at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa at 727-461-3222. Please note: FCRA Headquarters is unable to view your reservations.
When is the hotel room block discount cut-off date?
The cut-off date was May 24, 2021, or until the room block was sold out. The FCRA room block at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is SOLD OUT over the Convention dates.
What should I wear?
During the day anything from business to casual dress is appropriate. Evening attire is at your discretion.
How much is parking?
Valet is $15.00 per day and self-parking is complimentary.
Will there be WiFi?
Complimentary basic wireless internet will be provided both in the guest rooms and meeting space.
What is the cancellation policy?
Only WRITTEN or FAXED cancellations will be accepted. A $150 administrative charge will be made for cancellations received between May 3 - May 31, 2021. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER May 31, 2021.
How many credits can I earn at the Convention?
This program has been approved for 1.45 CEUs by NCRA.
Does FCRA report my credits?
Yes, FCRA will report all CEUs earned directly to NCRA within 30 days after the conclusion of the Convention. If you are an FPR, your credits will automatically be applied to your FPR account within 30 days after the conclusion of the Convention.
