Eligible persons who may sit for the FPR examination and the designations that will be received upon a score of 80 percent or above on the exam are as follows:

Stenographic Court Reporters Participating Members in good standing who hold the FPR designation and demonstrate skills proficiency through either reciprocity of certification of the National Court Reporters Association or after successful passage of skills testing of 200 words per minute for five minutes for testimony (Q&A) material and 180 words per minute for five minutes of literary/judicial material at 95% accuracy.

Stenographic Court Reporting Students Any student of stenographic court reporting may take the FPR™ exam, although certification is deferred pending proof of graduation from a court reporting program or entry into the practice of court reporting. Florida Professional
